Clarification

There has been (and, I guarantee, will be) complaints that I tend to exaggerate.

In my defense:

(1) This is my blog so it is only natural AND FORGIVABLE that I paint myself in a favourable light. I am the neurotic heroine you root for, the speaker of truths you think but dare not say out loud, the egomaniac you would hate but can't because, yes, I am THAT lovable. Plus, really, how can you hate someone who suffers from such grand delusions? (HAHAHHAHAHHAHAH!) Of course I'm going to come off as much more humourous, fabulous, brilliant and awe-inspiring (I kill myself! Really, I do!) than I actually am, meaning you, co-stars of my stories, are bound to come off lame, not just in comparison to yours truly, but lame on your own. Apologies.

(2) I have a really bad memory.

(3) I am probably not the greatest story teller (partly due to reason #2) (In my defence I am probably one of the better story tellers I know. Perhaps because I am highly amused by myself? Hmmm...) because I can only imitate people in one voice. Once I was telling a story about a conversation I had with a 60-year-old man. SC says, "He talked like a valley girl?" Me: "No, but that is the only voice I can imitate. I am limited in my abilities." SC: "I love you anyway." Me: "Awww... you're making me blush." But, really, this doesn't have anything to do with me exaggerating on my blog seeing as to how you can't hear how I would imitate these voices. Come to think of it, reason #2 also does not explain why I tend to exaggerate when telling stories. My memory is great! No! It's nearly perfect! What I am trying to say is that reason #1 is basically the only reason I exaggerate my stories. I only included reasons #2 and #3 so you wouldn't think I'm crazy. Ha! Too late!
