Giving up my dream

As I've mentioned, braces are sexy as hell. So when I befriended an orthodontist this year, I was very excited.

I told her that I am sometimes bothered by the gaps in my teeth (this is why I always floss after a meal, and was very upset last night when I couldn't find my floss in my bag) and find braces VERY hot.

She asked me to show her my bite; I obliged.

"Justina," she said, "you would be an excellent candidate for Invisalign."

Which didn't quite thrill me since I think metal braces and headgears are where sexiness lies!

Also, every so often I see this guy who wears Invisalign. There's something about that clear layer that just makes him look like he has a thick layer of plaque. UGH!

Perhaps, then, it's time I put my braces dream to rest.
